Digital Public Affairs Supervisor

As a Digital Public Affairs Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and executing digital public affairs campaigns, providing strategic recommendations, ensuring project success, and fostering client trust. Your exceptional communication, organizational, and technical skills will be instrumental in driving project profitability, client retention and new business development.

This is a hybrid position. You will work from our downtown Sacramento or D.C. office 3 days per week. Enjoy free coffee, seltzers, snacks, weekly team lunches, and collaboration with a team of savvy digital public affairs professionals.

Expectations & Core Activities

  • Ensure Project Profitability: Effectively overseeing the project team, leveraging Unearth systems and processes and working with team members to exceed campaign goals while remaining at or under budget
  • Client Retention and Growth: Building and maintaining client trust, understanding their preferences, ensuring client satisfaction through timely and clear communication, and enhancing client relationships by proposing innovative solutions.
  • New Business Development: Collaborating with leadership on tool recommendations, and efficiently converting leads into signed contracts.
  • Team Leadership: Developing training plans for direct reports; identifying and cultivating staff and vendor relationships, and documenting and refining internal processes.

Desired Experience & Skills

  • 5-8 years work experience managing paid digital media and online advertising for public affairs or political campaigns
  • Passionate about bipartisan public affairs, legislative advocacy and ballot initiatives
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Political Science, or related field; or relevant work experience in public affairs or politics

  • Compensation: $85,000 – $137,000 year, commensurate with experience
